The Phoenix Exotics Wildlife Association is having its Annual General Meeting in Las Vegas this year, Feb 28-29, 2004.

The meeting is always free.

Our meeting theme is "SOLUTIONS"

In addition to the meeting, a package deal has been arranged for our group at the Plaza Hotel at a reduced rate. We are also offering an entertainment package which includes some meals, transportation to and from a nearby sanctuary for big cats on a tour bus with facilities, group tour of the Las Vegas Zoo and premium seats for a magic show at the Plaza - Dirk Arthur. He uses big cats in his show as well as doing magic- such as making a helicopter disappear!

We have a number of speakers lined up. Many of these are concerned with big cats.

Three of those are:
Vernon Weir of the American Sanctuary Association
http://www.asaanimalsanctuaries.org/
Vernon was our featured speaker at the 2003 meeting

Jonathan Kraft, Keepers of the Wild
http://www.keepersofthewild.org/founder.htm
Jonathan attended our 2003 meeting. This is his first speaking spot with us.

Brian Werner, Tiger Missing Link Foundation
http://www.tigerlink.org/main.html
This is Brian's first opportunity to address the group.

Phoenix deals with ALL exotics. However, since the Big Cats, specifically Tigers, have been a focus in legislative proposals and news articles, we do have a large number of issues relating to big cats to discuss.

Advance registration for this meeting is required as space is limited.  Anyone signing up for either the lodging package or the entertainment
package is automatically registered for this free meeting. All other attendees are asked to call and register for the meeting as soon as possible. Unregistered attendees will be accommodated if there are any seats remaining.
