1 AN ACT Relating to sexually altered, pinioned mute swans; and
2 adding a new section to chapter 77.12 RCW.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
4 NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 77.12 RCW
5 to read as follows:
6 A mute swan (Cygnus olor) may not be designated as deleterious
7 exotic wildlife under this chapter if all of the following criteria are
8 met:
9 (1) The mute swan is both sexually altered and pinioned;
10 (2) The mute swan is located on private property that contains
11 water bodies totaling no more than twenty acres; and
12 (3) There are no more than two mute swans located on each property.
